John Courage Whiskey /Water Jug.

A John Courage hand thrown stoneware whiskey or water jug with the Cockeral seal on the front of jug and the impressed motto TAKE THE COURAGE around the centre of the jug. Decorated in matt black glaze, and on the inside of jug it has a pastel pink glaze, no potter or pottery marks anyware on the jug.

Medium  : Pottery, Hand thrown, Stoneware.

Circ        :  1950s-1960

Cond't    :  Excellent with no damage.

SizE/D    : 6" (15.2cm) High.
